In a color detector, the same amount of smooth, grayscale, and color get different results. The resulting grid widths are significantly different. I would like to know what is the difference between smooth calculation and normal calculation under color? Which one is more accurate?

Can't it be that inverse false color works with some truncated information (for example 8 bit vs 32 bit)?

The color gamut can have multiple levels (thinner lines, more shades)
The inverse false color is already somehow limited - less shade and thus the lines appear thicker

Or you are using some filter ..?
