I am trying to model a simple 2-flat mirror periscope using a 2008 version of Zemax. I am not sure how to go about entering a vertical displacement to set the distance between the mirrors. If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate.

You can use coordinate breaks to build a periscope:
In this example, the vertical displacement between the mirrors is set by the thickness of surface 4.
I have never worked with Zemax 2008, but since this example uses only standard surfaces and coordinate breaks, I guess it should be backwards compatible.
