optimize the peak interdistance for spectrometer resolution

Hi,

How can we be able to apply a threshold at 80% in Irradiance to detect two separate spots? I am referring to peak interdistance optimization to correspond to 80% of the maximum relative irradiance. It is mentioned under this article. I would like to apply the threshold for GIA irradiance output.

Hi Fatemeh,

 

There are multiple ways you could achieve this result. Could you share a simplified example showing what you’d like to do? Then, someone can suggest the best solution for you.

As far as I can tell, with Geometric Image Analysis (GIA), you’d need to save the analysis as a text file, perhaps through the ZOS-API, and use another programming language to determine the size of the deep between the spots. All this could be encapsulated into a custom operand, which you could use to optimize at 80%.
