Optical weigth along the optical axis

Hi,

I like calculating the optics' optical weight/detection function below.

The isotropic light with fine sphere volume should be allocated on the optical axis. It will move along the axis and the radiant power on the image plane should be calculated. Thus, I can have a dataset or plots with radiant power Vs. the position of the light source along the optical axis. Could you give me a comment for setting the light source and the radiance power calculation on the image plane? Or if a similar example already exists, could you just let me try?

Thank you.

Jeongwon
