I am trying to optimize illumination lens, which function in merit function editor should I use to control the parameters?

not x,y,z, but the curvatures and polymonial coefficients? Is there something like PMGT in sequencial mode?

Thanks a lot.

Open the merit function editor and click the help icon. Go to 'Optimization Operands by Category' => 'Constraints on Non-sequential Object Data.'

There you will find a convenient listing of merit function operands. One of those listed is NPGT for 'Non-sequential Parameter Greater Than' which is the non-sequential version of PMGT.

Kind regards,

David
