Question

non-seq / Explode Error & Import Error

Hello,

I am using the "Explode" function to separate the CAD assembly file into parts.
However, on some PCs, "Explode" operates normally, but on some PCs, an error occurs as shown in the picture below.
Both PCs are using 23R2 2.01 version of zemax.

I would like to ask for advice from someone with experience on why this error occurs and how to resolve it.

Additionally, if you load a normally converted file from an error PC, the following error occurs.

Hi Seyoung,

When it comes to CAD in recent Zemax versions, several users have reported solving problems by unchecking the parasolid library option in the preferences:

One other issue I have reported (the bug was acknowledged and closed by Zemax in July, but I am not sure the fix has been in a release so far) resulted from the use of comma as decimal separator in Windows with these libraries.

So you may want to compare the windows decimal separators on your 2 PCs and the status of the checkbox.

Thanks for giving me great advice.
I did the work, based on what you explained to me, but the error still persists.
