hello,

I have a biconic surface I would like to perform an irregularity tolerance analysis on.  I read about using TEZI.  How can I use this for a biconic surface?

You could try using the composite surface capability: Introduction to Composite Surface

Hi John.  Yes, all is well; good to see you on the forum.

The relatively new composite surface looks interesting, especially for tolerancing.  However, there is a note in the help documentation that indicates it doesn’t work for off-axis apertures, so it has some limitation.

An approach to tolerance off-axis surfaces is described here:

Tolerancing surface irregularity using a phase surface
