I would like to trace the marginal and chief rays in the 3D viewer. Is there a way to do this?

Thank you.

Chandan is correct in that you can pick out the marginal and chief rays from the 3D viewer, but there is no way that I know of to plot only those.

However, the 2D layout does have the option to plot only the marginal and chief rays:

You can set the number of rays 3 in 3D viewer and desired field point. Out of 3 middle ray will be your chief ray and two other going from the periphery of stop surface is your marginal rays.

Positions of rays also you can find at specific surface using appropriate operand, Hx, Hy, Px, Py values.

Thankyou.
