Hi,

I have a system with a vertically polarized light as input, how to model a 45 deg linear polarizer in the optical path?

Hi @Ying,

Apologies on the late reply to your question. In case it is still relevant or useful to others:

One way to create a 45-degree linear polarizer is through the use of the Jones Matrix surface. By setting each real parameter of the matrix to 1 (or 0.5), you can create the intended element. I have attached a sample file to get you started.
