I'd like to set a field angle in object space,e.g., 10 deg.
After Binary 1, the rays would be 0 deg.
What merit function can we apply for this work?

How to optimize Binary 1 phase to be like a prism function?
Hi Cheng-Mu, two settings you will need:
- Set to 'Afocal image space' in the Aperture setting in the System Explorer
- Open the Optimization Wizard, set the Optimization Function to 'Angular'. The wizard will auto-generate the merit functions you will need.
