Hi,

I would like to measure the beam diameter after focusing lens. My requirement to measure the beam diameter at different location along the focusing length. As shown in image, I am using measurement tool , it does not look precise, some time with minor mouse movement value is changing. Please suggest correct procedure.

Hi Amit,

If the height of the marginal ray is an acceptable measure of beam semi-diameter, then you could position dummy surfaces where you want the measurement and use REAY operands in the merit function to measure the ray height.
