How to evaluate the uniformity of the light spot using NSDD operands

Hello,

     I want to evaluate the uniformity of the light spot using NSDD operands, as shown in the picture below. The light spot of detector 1 is more uniform than that of detector 2, but on the contrary, the standard deviation obtained from Pix# -4 is higher.

I wonder if the steep edges of Detector 1 are not causing the higher standard deviation. To test this you could (threshold the data close to the maximum and redo the STD calculation) or just calculate the STD on the flat part by increasing the # Igr.

EDIT: second idea sounds simpler actually...

I increasing the #Igr to 40, get the idea result.
