How to distinguish a polygon object pixel

I created a self-defined polygon object, roof prism, and set it as a detector. How should I distinguish which pixel point to which triangle surface?

Hi Davis,

Does this segment of the Help File answers your question?

Comments on general objects as detectors pixel numbering

The pixels are numbered in the order the polygons are defined, and there is no general way to describe the pixel ordering. For these objects, some experimentation may be required to determine the exact pixel ordering method.

Excerpt from: The Setup Tab > Editors Group (Setup Tab) > Non-sequential Component Editor > Non-sequential Detectors > Objects as Detectors

Take care,

If there are less than 50 polygons, you could give each one a unique face number and then you can identify each pixel directly and put different coatings, surface scatter treatments on it.

More than 50 you’ll need to cluster pixels together to produce 50 or fewer face groups. The UI has a nice graphical editor for this in, I think, the CAD tab of the object properties.
