Hi I’m senior in InHa university.

I want to make a head light which uses laser diode.

So I made this model, and I want my laser diode to be scattered.

So I made a lens which functions as scatterer.

But how can I GET THIS LENS TO FUNCTION AS A SCATTER-ER?

Always- thank you for your support.

Hi @lumieremyoung , welcome to the community!

When you want an object to have scattering properties, you’ll want to open the object properties and go to the scattering tab. You can open the object properties right above where you see the column title “Object Type” in your editor.

Note that in order to see scattering effects, you have to have “use polarization” and “scatter rays” checked in both your layout settings and in your raytrace settings.
