Hi Zemax Support,

I use SVG export for the vast majority of OpticStudio graphics, and it is great because it is fully scalable. Sadly, the layout plots (plus a few others) do not support SVG.

Bitmap export is supported for these, and OS allows us to export these at high resolution, which is great. I typically use 4k for the width of exported images, see (1) below

This works great, except there is no control over the surface and ray line thicknesses, as there is in the Layout drawings themselves. See (2) above. A normal OS layout screen will look like:

 

and it’s exported version will look like

 

You can see that the lines are just so thin that this high-resolution file really isn’t all that useable. 

Would it be possible for exports on the layouts to also use the default thicknesses in (2) of the Preferences dialog? That would give us publication-quality export for the layouts, which you really have to finagle with the code at present.
