Does the MC Operand PRAM not work in NSC mode?

Hi! I’m wondering if the multi-configuration operand PRAM will work with Non-sequential mode. There are only 3 surfaces available in the Properties menu for the operand, and NSC mode doesn’t use surfaces (just objects), so this may be a clue. I am trying to configure a model where the “Minimum X Half Width” parameter from an Annulus object changes from 15 to 30. PRAM may not be the operand to use, but I do not know what else would work.

Once these two configurations are set, I’d like to run a ray trace to see the results for both scenarios on the detector surface behind the Annulus object.

Any suggestions for how to go about this are welcome.

Thank you!

Hello,

The operand you want is NPAR. And the min x half width is parameter 3. You can then run each trace by first selecting the desired configuration.

Awesome! Thanks, David!
