Hello everyone,
In Libraries --> design templates and selecting a design among the library, after changing and saving the file would the original layout be changed?
I want to make sure about the Design templates original format isn't changed by my mistake.
If so, how can I go back to the original file layout?

Thanks for your post here on the forums!
When loading a model from the Design Template libraries, a new Zemax file is created under the \Documents\Zemax\Design Templates folder with a name ZMXtmpXXXX. If you load a design, modify it, and then save the file from OpticStudio, this process will only change your ZMXtmpXXXX file in the \Documents\Zemax\Design Templates folder, and it will not overwrite the models stored in the Design Templates libraries.
