Dark Mode Feedback

I think tolerance results were missed with the Dark Mode conversion. The white text on light gray cell background is difficult to read. I like the feature otherwise though.

@Chris Normanshire I have found a few other instances that could be fixed as well.

Solve letter disappears when a cell is highlighted. There is a variable solve on Decenter X, but when that cell is highlighted, the “V” stays white.

Text window text disappears when highlighted. ZPL Macro shown for example, but happens in any text window.

Another thing that currently works but could be improved is related to analysis and layout windows. The standard color scheme of blue, green, red, etc works well with white backgrounds, but the contrast leaves a little to be desired with dark mode. Here is a comparison for a spot diagram in both dark mode and standard. The spots are set to “thinnest” and “use symbols” is off. Those settings could be changed to improve visibility, but I think the analysis should be useable with any settings selected.

Hi @Sean Turner I can confirm that the first two issues will also be fixed in the upcoming release.

Thanks for the feedback about the visibility of the colour scheme. I can certainly see your point. I’ll pass this on to our Product team for review.

Chris
