Creating input beam for POP

I would like to input into an imager a plano beam that simulates irradiance from a scene at infinity to do some analysis in POP.  So the beam is collimated and in this case fills the imager entrance pupil of 120mm.  It can be monochromatic.  The beam should have a top hat irradiance profile.  The FOV is 4.0 x 7.4 deg full FOV. 

I don’t believe that I want a guassian with a waist, divergence, etc.

 

Any suggestions?
