Dear Members,

I am asking only to underswtnad if I can use Zemax for some Thermal lensing Simulation.

My principla question is the following:

I have a Lens in an holder of a certain Material (e-g- Aluminum). The Holder is heasted from a side by a thermal source which charachteristics I know.

Could Zemax simualte the change in optical performances for focussing a laser beam with the change of the temperature of the thermal source?

Thanks a lot

Best regards

You need to calculate thermal distribution and how it influence on surfaces/elements in external software and use STAR module to check the performance with these thermal effects.

Thanks Andrey,

I have still to get the STAR Module but then your solution  should make the work.

Sorry for the delay of my reply I was a bit busy in these days.

Bests
