When I do Bitmap optimization, what is the BMP image orientation related to detector coordinate?

The detector has tilt and decenter behind a mirror. if I do bitmap optimization, what is the orientation of this image refer to tilted and decentered detector.

Hi Kevin

Sorry for the delay in replying. The BMP as shown in the Bitmap wizard is displayed in the XY local plane of the detector. So for example below I have displayed the X and Y local coordinates of the detector:

The Detector Viewer is also showing the result in the XZ plane so after optimizing, the results of the Detector Viewer and the displayed bitmap image should be close and are given in the same orientation.

To view the orientation of the detector, you can open the properties and select Draw Local Axis:

Let us know if that answers your question and do not hesitate if not.
