Hi,

I am using Non-Sequential mode in OpticStudio, and I am trying to create a square source from a rectangular array. The problem is that the source only traces rays to a single quadrant of the optical system. I would like to create a square source without having to create four separate sources in each quadrant. Thank you in advance!

Best regards,

Jesús

Hi,

I just solved the problem simply moving the array source with X, Y, Z positions. It is not what I expected but it could work according to my purpose. I don’t know how I didn’t think of this before. Thank you anyway!

Best regards,

Jesús

Hi Jesús,

Can you please add the zemax file or a picture of the layout?

It is a dummy optical system (1 source, 1 standard lens, 1 paraxial lens and 1 detector). The layout with 4 colors represents the solution that I invented but it does not work on my purpose. The layout with the blue emission represents the problem I am having.
