Seemingly simple enough to do - have the LDE show T for thermal pickups and P for regular pickups. We can’t tell which are which while doing thermal design. It’s a productivity enhancement thing, and it’s important.

T obviously represents a Position solve in the LDE. Kidding aside though, I agree there should be another letter used for a thermal pickup. Maybe H for tHermal or Heat?
T makes no sense for position, anyway. Yes, H for “heat”. I guess they won’t do anything about this at all for backward compatibility. This is a common problem with all codes, not just optics codes.
