I was trying to simulate a laser diode using pop with dimensions of 1um and 100um. the divergence angles were 30deg and 8 deg at FWHM respectively. The graph resulted at 1cm does not represent the real output although it was run at the highest sampling rate available at my disposal. Here are attached photos of the setup of the physical optics and the output also the output from ray tracing.
