Hi all,I am using ‘Reverse elements’ from lens data to reverse my finite optical system in sequential mode. what parameters should be constant during reversing optical system? I want to recheck that my system configuration has been correctly reversed or not. That’s why for recheck I want to know the parameters through which I can analyse that my work is correct or not.If anyone has any suggestion or experienece, Please advice me .Thanks in advance.
Hello! I want to design the grating in lumerial and import it into ZEMAX to design and optimize the diffractive optical waveguide. I recently saw some articles and videos about lumerial and ZEMAX. So far, I have learned about and learned an example of a metalens. In that example, lumericall fdtd/rcwa exported a file in ZBF format to ZEMAX. However, the method of that example does not seem to be applicable to the analysis of gratings in diffractive optical waveguide systems.I saw in other videos that the grating designed in FDTD can be exported to JSON format file, and then imported using the DLL of diffraction grating in ZEMAX. I want to know how to export files in this format in FDTD? What data need to be exported? Are there any examples of lumerial scripts? Because I only saw the demo in the video and didn't find other materials. (I know that ZEMAX is still developing the dynamic link function, but I don't need this function yet).Below are links to related videoshttps://v.ansys.com.c
Dear Sir/Madam,I am trying to simulate a system conatnig prism to deflect the light. I made prism in sequatial mode by using coordinate break. But when I am trying to use another element after the prism, ray direction is changing (right to left), but it should be form left to right, why it is happing so, what changes do I need to make?I am attaching the screenshot of the problem as well as .zar file. This problem is not persisting when I am also going in negative direction (right to left (By chaning the tilt angle in coordinate break column)), but in that case all the sign convention is changing which is obvious.
