Hello everyone,I am currently trying to create a 3D interferometry model using a detector volume. I first checked that I was able to detect the interferences in 2D, before using a detector volume, as in the tutorial: How to show Detector Volume data in 3-D – Knowledgebase (zemax.com).My system uses 3 source ellipse and a detector volume of opacity 10%.However, I cannot see any absorbed flux on my detector volume, but I don’t know why. I suspect that without detecting any absorbed flux the Macro given by the tutorial cannot be run properly. Can you help me with that?Best regards,Marie Fournier.
Hello everyone,I am currently trying to model a microscope, which of course include the use of oil. I already modelled the whole system and I work now in non sequencial mode. However, when I try to put my detector near the oil, close to the specimen, in order to investigate what kind of signal I have, I got the following error: “non mirror surfaces cannot be placed in contact with solid”. It looks like the software doesn’t like when I put my detector in oil. I modelled the oil with the solve model : n=1,52 and abbe number= 58.8. Is there a way to allow the detector to be inside the oil without any trouble?Cheers,Marie Fournier.
Hello,I am currently modeling a dynamic zoom system constituted of two liquid lens and a lens with a fixed focal length. The goal of this system is to change the size of the gaussian laser beam entering the zoom by a magnification factor in the range [0.2,0.6], so it can be flexible between each change of magnification. My problem is the following: I want to measure the magnification in order to be sure that the system can actually work for different magnifications. I had two ideas so far.The first one is to measure the magnification of the system using the operand PMAG inside the merit function. But it is valid only in the case of a paraxial system. Using a gaussian beam I am not sure that this is the best way to measure the correct magnification. My second thought was to measure the size of the gaussian beam waist at the entrance of the system, then at the exit and finally do the division (exit/entrance) inside the merit function. However I didn’t find such operand in order to measure
