Hi.

I found hot spots in the Detector of the fly's eye beam homogenizer.
I don't understand why it occurred and where did it come from.
Is it a real physical situation?

Thanks.

Your optical path is not constructed properly.  Here’s the setup for a homogenizer based on a single lens array.

A simple rearrangement of your optical path looks like this:

Note the plano-convex lens has been flipped to reduce aberration.  The hot spots are now gone.
